In Nova Scotia, eight Early Years Centres are a first step to transforming the patchwork of child care, family support and early intervention programs into an effective, sustainable early childhood system that is aligned with public education. The evaluation that is supported by Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Foundation in partnership with the Nova Scotia government and communities will track progress and inform emerging public policy. The Request for Proposals to evaluate the initiative is now posted. Deadline for applicants is December 29 2014.
