CHANCES is a PEI institution offering early education, care, family supports and home visiting to families across the island. It is part of a tripartite partnership with the Government of PEI and the Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Foundation Inc. that is evaluating the outcomes of universal access to ECE and testing tools to support program quality. Margaret McCain and Jane Bertrand presented the follow update on the project.

CHANCES Holiday Party

CHANCES Family Centre on Prince Edward Island hosts its annual holiday party for the community.

The Centre is an innovative pioneer in early childhood delivery and is now participating in research looking at the impact of preschool participation for children at risk of developmental delays.

CHANCES is supported by MWMFF to build an integrated platform for young children and their families in Charlottetown, PEI. On October 16, 2014, the fundraising efforts were celebrated at a gala dinner at the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre. This event honored Hon. Catherine Callbeck for her lifetime of community contributions, public service and leadership. Hon. Margaret Norrie McCain was the Honorary Chair of the event and the Hon. Frank McKenna wwas be keynote speaker.
