The Hon Margaret Norrie McCain celebrates the launch of the Jimmy Pratt Foundation in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador and congratulates chair, Kathy Pratt LeGrow and board members.
MWMFF will partner with the new foundation to support early childhood research at the Faculty of Education, Memorial University.

Kathy Pratt LeGrow announced the launch of the Jimmy Pratt Foundation in St. John's, Newfoundland. The foundation will support research and program development to ensure all children have opportunities to live resilient lives.
The Jimmy Pratt Foundation is committed to strategic research rather than chequebook philanthropy.
Margaret McCain congratulated Kathy Pratt LeGrow and the Board of Directors. She welcomed the new foundation as a vital partner in Atlantic Canada and spoke of future ventures together in working with communities and governments. Margaret also noted that the Jimmy Pratt Foundation, like the Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Foundation Inc., understands the power of convening, collaborating communicating in addition to giving.

The Margaret and Wallace McCain Family Foundation Inc. join the Jimmy Pratt Foundation in investing $300,000 in the Faculty of Education at Memorial University of Newfoundland for early childhood research.
