Excerpt: "The federal government has announced nearly 1.8-million dollars in funding for early childhood development projects in the Greater Toronto area.
It says the projects are aimed at finding new and innovative ways to improve early leaning and child care service delivery.
The funding is going to a total of seven projects, including a study on social finance models for early learning child care as well as studies on improving staff qualifications."
