Voice of Impact

Date: September 22, 2025
Location: Crowne Plaza, Downtown Moncton

Across Canada we are facing challenging economic times. Building a viable work force is critical, and making early learning and child care available for employees is essential. Junior Kindergarten is a popular part of this equation in North America. Currently, just over half of Canadian 4-year-olds are attending their neighborhood public school as students, fully engaged in the culture, community and curriculum of the school. Extended day options support parents' work or studies. Scott will discuss the linkage between expanding public education to fast growing communities such as Moncton and freeing thousands of child care spaces for younger children, allowing parents to be stable and productive employees and economies to thrive, now and in the future.
